Lately, I have been noticing three relatively new sharing buttons that are appearing on the sites of some top online retailers.
Wanelo has had many comparisons to Pinterest. Essentially users post their favorite products here, encouraging more people to like and share, and you are taken directly to the seller’s shop to purchase. Online retailers that have started to include the Share on Wanelo button includes: Delias, Sephora, Asos, Modcloth, Wet Seal, Tillys, CB2, Crate and Barrel, Society6, Storenvy, Hollister, Aeropostale, Think Geek, and Top Shop.
Houzz is one of the most popular blogs for home decorating photos. If you see a product on an online store that you like, you can use the Share on Houzz icon to immediately add it to your Houzz idea books. Since other Houzz readers can look at your idea books, you are sharing it with more people. Online retailers incorporating the Houzz button includes: Overstock, Art.com, All Posters, CB2, Crate and Barrel, Horchow, Room & Board and Artful Home.
Add to Amazon Wish List
Did you know that you can add products from other online stores to your wish list on Amazon? Well you can and this sharing button helps you do just that. Online retailers using the Add to Amazon Wish List button includes: Threadless, ArtFire, and ShopRuche.
The more options you give for visitors to share your products, the further you extend your reach. In the vast online world, you can’t be too many places.
